Miami Museum of Science & Planetarium

During the last decade, the Museum has expanded to provide space for 4,000 member families, over 250,000 annual visitors, one of the largest summer science camps in the nation (ages 3 to 14) and countless additional exhibits, collections and activities. The Charlotte Museum of History and Hezekiah Alexander Homesite comprise multiple venues on an eight-acre wooded campus in east Charlotte.

The oldest structure, and the reason for the museum’s location, is the Hezekiah Alexander Homesite, a 5,000- square foot rock house.
