University of Miami String Academy

University of Miami String Academy (UMSA) is a string preparatory program at the Frost School of Music that offers lessons and classes to those interested in studying violin, viola, cello, and double bass. Music theory (including ear training and sight singing) and chamber music classes are also offered. There are three programs, Strings for Kids (ages 6-12), Strings for Teens
(ages 13-18), and Strings for Adults (adults).
