Kingswood Montessori Academy was founded in 1968, at its present location, under the direction of Elizabeth Calabrese. Mrs. Calabrese, B.S., received her Montessori training in Miami from Dr. Elizabeth Caspari, a pioneer of Montessori Education in the United States.
