Miami Duck Tours

Miami Duck Tours uses custom made state-of-the-art amphibious vehicles called a "Hydra Terra." Each and every vehicle is a U.S. Coast Guard approved "T" vessel as well as a certified passenger vehicle for use on the roadways.

These vehicles have revolutionary positive buoyancy foam filled compartments making these vessels virtually unsinkable. These vessels will remain afloat even with the drain plugs removed and full engine room flooding.

The Hydra Terra is 39' long and 8' feet wide and has a seating capacity of 45-49 passengers. The vehicles are powered by a 300hp 7.2 litre Caterpillar Diesel Engine, electronic steering, Allison heavy-duty transmission.

On land, they can travel up to 65 miles per hour and require drivers to hold a Class "A" or "B" CLD License issued by the Florida Department of Transportation.   By sea, the Hydra-Terra travels at 6 knots and must be operated by a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain.

The vehicles are equipped with adult and children life preservers as well as fire extinguishers per requirements of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Miami Duck Tours is a perfect outing for corporate events, camps, school field trips, senior events, family reunions, team building and private parties.

Rate: entire Duck vehicle (up to 45 passengers) $950 for standard tour departing from our Washington Avenue location. Price does not include a 10% driver/tour gratuity.

How long is the tour?
Just the right amount of time. Your Land & Sea Adventure will last approximately 90 minutes. Of course some tours may take a bit longer depending on the traffic. But because of the uniqueness of our vehicles you will be able to see more sights in less time.

Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased at store located at 1665 Washington Avenue. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 1-877-DUCK-TIX or on this website. Tours do sellout in advanced so we strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advanced.

Are your vehicles equipped with restrooms?
No. We do suggest that you use the restrooms located at our store prior to your tour. Unfortunately our vehicles are not large enough to be equipped with restrooms.

Will I get wet?
Not unless it rains. However, our vehicles are equipped with roll-down windows in the event it starts raining hard.

Do I have to wear a life jacket during the trip?
Not unless you want to. Our vehicles are equipped with enough life jackets for both adults and children.
