Water Bus uses a variety of boats for its scheduled services. You will see 38' Megas, and our newest boats, the 42' hybrid-electric Water Buses. The Megas have a maximum capacity of 74 passengers, while the Water Buses can carry 70 passengers.
We have two hybrid-electric Water Buses, built by Canal Boats, Inc.. These climate-controlled ferries offer fully-enclosed seating in the main cabin and a covered open deck in the back
These boats are driven by electric motors and rely on a generator and batteries for power.
These new boats provide increased efficiency while reducing the environmental impact through features such as a low-wake hull design and a state-of-the-art hybrid-electric drive system.
