Our mission is to provide effective assistance to people creating new family relationships through adoption. ACF provides a full range of legal and social services for birth parents, adoptive parents and prospective adoptees. Birth parent services include counseling, financial assistance, support groups, and open or confidential adoptions. Adoptive parent services include home studies, parent training, counseling, child placement, interstate compact services, and all of the legal work necessary to finalize an adoption.

Through birth parent choice ACF places newborn or very young children throughout the United States and internationally. The wait time for placement through ACF is estimated at 6 - 18 months from approved home study.

ACF can arrange open adoptions, confidential adoptions, relative adoptions and everything in between.

ACF's policies and screening practices are inclusive. There are few set requirements regarding age, marital, or financial status. Each family is considered on an individual basis.
