The Arts Academy of Hollywood is committed to cultivating creativity for all ages by offering classes in art, acting, musical theater, voice & music, Tai Chi/Martial Arts, Holistic Arts, yoga, and all forms of dance for toddlers through seniors.
The Arts Academy provides performing arts instruction, master classes, dance, acting and music performances, performing arts enrichment programs and summer camps all in one state of the art venue.
Performing Arts Programs for Children
S.T.A.R & Exploring Arts programs are daily arts educational programs. The S.T.A.R program is held after school for ages 5 to 12 from 2:30p to 6pm daily. The Exploring Arts program is set up for ages 3/4. This is also a daily program offered 5 days or 3 days a week 9am to 1pm.
S.T.A.R. (Daily After School Arts Program)
The STAR PROGRAM is an after-school performing arts program for boys and girls kindergarten - 5th grade. This program will not only develop a childs performance skills, but will also teach cooperation, teamwork and commitment.
Boys are required to participate in boys dance class and one other dance class of their choice. Girls are required to take one ballet class and a second dance class of choice as well. Other dance class and proper attire required. In addition there are daily classes scheduled in art, music and acting.
Although some children have natural talents or may be more advanced than others in certain areas of the arts, everyone is a STAR.
Exploring Arts (Daily Preschool aged Arts Program)
The Exploring Arts program is an academic arts program for preschool aged children. The program was established for children ages 3 to 5 to focus on academic skills that are immersed in music, acting, movement and art. A performing Arts Education begins at a very young age and continues to be fostered for life.
Program hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 1:00pm. Daily classes are taught in dance and movement, music, acting and art by our caring, nurturing, well-educated and creative staff of professional educators.
All of the children in this program will perform at various events for the Arts Academy throughout the year. Our goal is to create well-rounded artist by the end of the Exploring Arts program experience.
Performing Arts Camps for Children (Winter / Spring / Summer)
Performing Arts Education begins at a young age and continues with development. The Academy offers Winter, Spring and Summer Camps for children to experience a full range of the arts. At the completion of a camp session the students put all the skills learned on display, bringing together the music, art, acting and choreography/dance taught during the camps session in a full-on performance.
