The Jammin' Kids music center represents the total music learning solution for your children's musical education. Or to satisfy your own yearning to play, we offer instruction for adults.
Differentiating Jammin' Kids from other music instruction is our overall philosophy to make learning a fun, rewarding experience.
Our philosophy, "We Make Music Fun For Everyone" guides us in everything that we do, from our proprietary MusIQ and Critter Rhythm instructional materials to the instructors that we recruit.
Our instruction follows two basic plans of presentation: Group classes, Individual instruction for private or semi-private lessons. Each of these plans are available to match the needs and talent of the individual student with the method most conducive to a positive and rewarding learning process.
Our instructors are all high-energy, capable and highly educated music education professionals. Each of them was selected for accomplishment in their own musical specialty, be it guitar, piano, keyboard, voice, or reed. But each of them has a special talent to make each person feel a sense of pride in their musical accomplishments and leave with the desire to learn more.
Jammin' Kids also offers summer fun and instruction to fill those lazy days with music appreciation and creativity.
Robin Burris heads up the Jammin' Kids faculty of 17 instructors, all of whom are conservatory or university trained.
Jammin' Kids is proud to be part of the National Piano Guild. This organization offers nation-wide recognition to all students who participate. The students who choose to prepare a program to perform at the yearly "auditions" will be guided through a year of preparation and study. Participating students will receive an award pin, certificate and an evaluation and critique from a judge of the Guild. The instructors at Jammin' Kids are available to tailor a program that your child will perform with success.
Group classes are offered for up to 4 children in a class from ages 2 to 6. This is a highly economical and fun way to capture your child's imagination in the world of enjoying and creating music.
Individual lessons are offered on either a private or semi-private basis and are particularly directed for tailored learning for students that have progressed beyond that of a beginner or for students older than 8 years of age.
Individual Classes
Individual lessons are available for piano and keyboard, guitar, bass guitar, percussion, clarinet, saxaphone, recorder and voice.
We provide lessons for your child from about 4 years and up, and for all levels. Whether you child is a beginner, or an accomplished musician.
Or if you are an adult who wants to start playing or resume playing again for the first time in years, we can match a teacher to your needs.
Our philosophy is that music should always be fun, and our conservatory trained and professional instructors can provide challenges for serious musicians.

Group Classes
Jammin' Kiddies (ages 2-1/2-3-1/2)
Our growing preschoolers are ready to play!! Our instructors lead this group of happy kids through a musical medley of everything from pop to rock!! It's never too early to express your tastes at Jammin Kids! Work sheets are introduced and the fundamentals of rhythms as well. The Jammin Kids Critter Rhythm songs and characters are a favorite of this age group (parental involvement required).
Jammin Juniors (ages 4 6)
Our pre-readers are ready to try their hand at classes without a caregiver helping them. Music books are introduced as well as identifying line and space notes. Finger numbers and right and left hands are mastered during this program. Organized musical games are an integral part of the fun in this class.
Jump Start (ages 6 8)
Our elementary school age children are a most receptive group of readers. With proper musical terminology used and identification of notes on the staff by name, this group is on their way to independent study of the piano. Many other instruments are discussed and listened to. The kids express their interest in different genres of music.
