Live In Nanny
Child care provider whose responsibilities also include light household duties. Main responsibilities are for children and their laundry, children's cooking, keeping children's areas organized. May be responsible for the transportation of children to and from school, transporting the children to other activities and errands. They must be provided with their own private room and preferably with their own bathroom. Live in help usually work between 45 - 50 hours per week.
Live Out Nanny
Same as above except that the nanny does not live in the house. Hours worked are usually between 40 - 45 per week.
Housekeeper / Maid
Can be full time or part-time / Live-in or Live out to meet your family needs. Her main responsibility is the cleaning and daily upkeeping of the home and may include cooking as well. Industry standard is one 40 hour per week employee for every 5000 sq. ft. of living space.
Elder Care Companion
Can be full time or part time / Live-in or Live out to meet the elder person's needs. The duties include companionship for an elderly or ill person. May or may not be responsible for other household duties.
Mother's Helper
Live in or Live out person for an at home mom who is able to assist mother in household duties and with children. May or may not work supervised by the mother.
Personal Assistant
Main role is to help organize a busy executive person or persons. Assisting in the personal administrative duties and errands of an individual.
Hotel Sitter/Corporate Events
We can provide you with a qualified nanny to take care of your children in your hotel room while you attend any special events.Temporary Staffing for special company events.Many times companies provide childcare services to their employees so employees may attend special occasion events.Care is usually provided on site in an adjacent or near by location.We can also provide maid and cleaning service of banquet halls and after party clean up.Call our office for rates.
Summer Nanny
Temporary nanny during the months of summer.
Home Manager
This person oversees other household staff. Also in charge of household duties. She coordinates recreational and business schedules for family members. Generally sees to the smooth running of the home and families' social calendar.
Governess
This is a trained tutor and companion for your children. Her role is to assure educational goals are met and to give attention to all details of your children care based on your instructions.
Manny
A male nanny (mostly used by all boy families) taking kids to baseball, football, soccer, etc.
Chef
This person has the skills to prepare meals for the family or other staff. A personal chef will plan and prepare your meals to meet your specific dietary needs and can also prepare food for special social events.
Driver
Personal limousine driver.
Couples
Married couple (woman and man) working together as a team in a families' home. May be live in or live out.
Emergency Sitter / Sick Child Care
Temporary on call nanny who can be called upon with short notice who can baby-sit a child who may or may not be ill.
Baby Nurse
This person is specifically trained and experienced with new born infant care.
Estate & Household Management Training
A service offered by South Florida Nannies & Housekeepers where we provide classroom training for new and existing household personnel.
On Site Consultation and Training
A service where a private professional consultant from South Florida Nannies & Housekeepers provides training to your household staff members on site.
Customized Household Manual
We can also provide you with a personalized, handsome leather bound manual which offers a pictorial guide of your home designed and laid out with your preferences and needs in mind. It is an accurate tool at your fingertips with exact directions of how each room in your home is to be presented and cared for. Each room in your home will be photographed to show the proper arrangement of furniture, rugs, artwork, pillow, and floral arrangements etc., with details in writing of exactly how the room is to be cared for.
