Park Avenue Gymnastics has designed a multi-colored star system to chart your child's progress. We call our system "Rainbow Stars." Your child is placed in the appropriate class, according to the skills they can successfully demonstrate. Your child will move through the star system while advanceing and learning more difficult gymnastics. We use this system to provide a safe and fun learning environment for all of "our gymnasts."
Your child will be evaluated throughout the 9 week session. During the 8th week of the session your daughter/son will receive a certificate of recognition signifying the highest color star completed. This will indicate progress and placement for the next session.
In order to advance thorugh our system, your child must pass the stars indicated for their class level before they will be moved to a more advanced class. Our progression system helps teach your child the importance of setting goals and striving to achieve them. At the completion of the gold star in the Girl's Recreational Program your child will be eligible to either try-out for our competitive team or continue to particiapte in the Advanced class. Please feel free to speak with the instructor to find out how your child is progressing.
It is our goal at Park Avenue Gymnastics to develop fitness and character in children through the sport of gymnastics!
Birthday Parties
Park Avenue Gymnastics hosts birthday parties for children 3-12 years old. All parties are private and include one hour of gymnastics and 1/2 hour in the party room. The birthday child gets a free T-Shirt!

At Park Avenue Gymnastics, children ages 5 years old (must be in kindergarten) through 12 year olds, have the opportunity to experience two weeks of fun centered around the exciting world of gymnastics. The emphasis will be on learning and perfecting gymnastics skills in a atmosphere of fun & challenge.
