Our Mission: The Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida, Inc., strives to provide all girls, regardless of ethnicity, age, income, or physical challenge, the opportunity to be a Girl Scout. Girl Scouts is a place where girls learn to believe in themselves, recognize their strengths and see a future of exciting possibilities! Girls may join the Girl Scout movement at any age from 5 to 17 years old or from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade.
Programs for All Ages:
Cookie Colleges: Fun learning experience for all age levels. Earn the Cookie badge.
Opera Workshops: All age levels will learn about the opera through crafts, makeup, music, theater and choreography.
Cinderella and Spring Balls: For all age levels to experience a formal dance with their escort.
Heart to Heart: Annual service event during holiday season in December. Organized day of service for all age levels to participate.
Girl Scouts Against Smoking Badge Day: All age levels participate in a day of fun and learning, incorporating the teen message against tobacco. Older girls will be doing the badge work and training with the younger girls. We are in need of Cadettes and Seniors to help by giving service hours and serving on the planning board. Please distribute the information to your Cadettes and Seniors.
Girls at the Center/Science Program: Explore the wonders of science with an adult partner. Activities include hands-on inquiry and investigation. Lots of fun, very educational, develop new skills and critical thinking!
Core Camping: This weekend camping event is for new troops who have not had a camping experience. Basic outdoor skills will be covered and all food is provided. This event is only for troops who have not attended a Core in the past.
Summer Camp: Leap into Summer with this GSCTF camping program! We provide opportunities for girls in our area to engage in a broad range of sports, recreation and learning activities that build confidence and self-esteem for a lifetime.

Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida, Inc. is proud to offer GirlSports Basketball League!
League is open to all girls (ages 8-14). There will be two age divisions, 9-11 years old (non-competitive) and 12-14 yeas old (competitive). Games will be played Saturday Mornings at three different Sites: 1) South-Local Park or Elementary School; 2) Central -William Lehman Elementary School; 3) North - Local Park or Elementary School (Tentative and subject to change). Each Service Unit recruits coaches and players, decides their own practice dates, times and site. Each team must have a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 15 girls per team. All Basketball equipment will be provided.
