Abrakadoodle takes an enlightened perspective to expanding children's creativity and their knowledge of the world of color, form and design. We believe in a comprehensive approach to creativity, offering classes for painting, sculpture, collage, mosaics, sketching and more. These classes not only ignite a child's imagination, but they also build fine motor, language and cognitive skills. With more than 1200 Abrakadoodle lessons, Abrakadoodle programs are always new and exciting!

Our popular programs, Twoosy Doodlers, Mini Doodlers and Doodlers, introduce new techniques and artistic styles and make use of high quality materials through an exclusive partnership with Crayola . Our ongoing art classes foster creativity and the development of new skills while using a variety of artistic tools and materials. Each lesson introduces new techniques and artistic styles. Contemporary and master artists share their talents through our Artist of Distinction Program . These exceptional artists help us to understand their specialties in paint, sculpture, fabric, design and more through Abrakadoodle's unique mentoring program. Classes are offered at schools during the school day or as an extra-curricular activity.

Twoosy Doodlers - for children ages 20-36 months
This special parent/child class is often the first educational program for our Twoosys. Children learn about color, texture and more while experimenting with new and innovative materials. Parents/caregivers learn what they can do to help nurture creativity.
Mini Doodlers - for children ages 3 to K
Mini Doodlers gleefully create their own masterpieces using a wide range of high quality art materials. Children develop important school readiness skills such as fine motor skills, ability to listen and follow directions, cognitive skills, language and more in an enchanting environment that develops individual creativity.
Doodlers - for grades 1-6
Doodlers develop new skills and talents while designing unique creations using a variety of wonderful materials and tools. Each lesson focuses upon developing skills, learning techniques and expanding knowledge. The methods and styles of contemporary and master artists specializing in paint, sculpture, design and more are incorporated into each class.

Specialty Art Classes for Children ages 3-12

Abrakadoodle is always on the cutting edge with new and exciting art lessons! Specialty classes allow children the opportunity to focus upon one aspect of art such as painting, photography or history.

Digital Doodles - Students learn about digital photography, photo printing and how to create a set-up for photographing, as well as how to use a photo in artwork. This program is offered in two sessions of four classes each, with instruction about famous artists such as Ansel Adams, William Wegman, Dali and Chagall. Students will use a digital camera and learn how to do photo illustrating. All student artwork is framed with FrameDoodles.

Doodle Drawing - Students learn how to draw by using recognizable shapes and lines to develop one-of-a-kind artwork. Students will discover special techniques as they develop their unique creations. Student artwork is framed with FrameDoodles.

Kids on Canvas - Students learn about painting on canvas paper, canvas board and stretched canvas using acrylics. Students will be inspired as they learn the techniques, style and vocabulary of such artists as Renoir, Mondrian, Laurel Burch, Jackson Pollock, Modigliani, Warhol, Sam Francis and Frank Stella.

Portfolio Kids - Each unique set of classes is designed to fill a child's portfolio with creative works, such as painting, modeling and digital art. Students will become immersed in fun themes that include: Time Machine, which engages children in Greek sculpting, cave painting and pop art; Media Mania, which features printing with tempera, acrylics and digital art, as well as Stampede, in which children create personal stamps, print with feathers, and experiment with Japanese fish printing.
